SRM University is a deemed university situated in Kancheepuram, Tamil Nadu that conduct the SRM University engineering entrance Exam to select outstanding candidates for available seats in the affiliated institutes.

SRMEEE 2017 Counseling:

SRM University will issue name wise counseling to the qualified candidates to participate in Counseling. The Counseling letters will be issued on-line and candidates can download it by log-in to the official website. The SRMEEE 2017 counseling will be conducted in off-line mode it means all qualified Candidates will have to physically report to claim the seat. SRMJEEE 2017 Result

Marks out of 105 are awarded to candidates based on the number of correct and incorrect answers. Result of SRMEEE 2017 or the result of SRMEEE 2017 will be announced on 02 May 2017. All the candidates who will appear in the exam will be able to check their result and merit list on the official website.

Result of SRMJEEE 2017 will be declared on 02 May 2017.Details of online and campus counseling will be announced soon after the publication of SRMJEEE result 2017.Candidates will also be intimated about the SRMEEE 2017 result on their registered mobile number through SMS.

SRMEEE 2017-18 Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible to appear in the SRM University Joint Engineering Entrance Exam, candidates must fulfill the basic criteria of eligibility for SRMJEEE as follows.

Nationality

Resident Indian or Non-Resident Indian (NRI), holder of PIO or OCI card issued by Government of India are eligible to apply for SRMJEEE (UG).NRIs, holders of PIO or OCI card issued by Government of India who have not taken the SRMJEEE (UG) must apply under International student category only.

Educational Qualification

All B.Tech programmes : For Kattankulathur, Ramapuram and Vadapalani campuses: Minimum 60 % aggregate in PCM. For NCR, Delhi campus: Minimum 55 % aggregate in PCMPassed in Higher secondary examination (10+2 pattern) or appearing in Higher Secondary examination in the current academic year with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as major subjects in regular stream from any state board within India, CBSE, ISCE, Matriculation, or NIOS.International Baccalaureate (IB) A-level with Mathematics, Physics and chemistry as major subjects in any International schools within IndiaB.Tech Biotechnology, B.Tech Biomedical Engineering and B.Tech Genetic Engineering : For Kattankulathur, Ramapuram and Vadapalani campuses : Minimum 60 % aggregate in PCM / PCB For NCR, Delhi campus: Minimum 55 % aggregate in PCM / PCB.Passed in Higher secondary examination (10+2 pattern) or appearing in Higher Secondary examination in the current academic year with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology or Biotechnology as major subjects in regular stream from any state board within India, CBSE, ISCE, Matriculation, or NIOS.International Baccalaureate (IB) with Diploma, or A-level with Physics, chemistry, Mathematics or Biology as major subjects in any International schools within India.Only those Candidates who have passed the above qualifying examination in not more than 2 attempts including appearance for improvement will be considered for admission.

Age Limit : Candidate must have completed the age of 17 years as on 31st December of the admission year.

SRMEEE 2017 Exam Pattern

Candidates who will appear in the entrance exam need to know the pattern of question paper, and other details. You can know about the number of questions asked, time allotted, maximum marks to be scored in the SRMJEEE 2017 question paper. SRM Engineering Entrance Exam paper will be conducted only in online mode.

Candidates who attempt Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in the SRMJEEE are eligible for all the B.Tech. degree programs. Candidates who attempt Physics, Chemistry and Biology in the SRMJEEE are eligible for B.Tech. Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Bioinformatics and Genetic engineering programs and also for various programs in Health Sciences.

Question paper will be only in English. Questions are of objective type. Each question has 4 alternate answers. The correct answer has to be chosen and the appropriate oval should be shaded.

Duration of the Exam : 2.30 hours
